Owner/Operator Nick Hinton and his cousin, Hank, first detailed his 1985 Delta 88 in 2001. They have always been passionate about cars, so Nick became an automotive salesperson while Hank became an automotive mechanic. They were forced to split ways when Hank enlisted in the 101st Airborne and was stationed to fight overseas, where he doubled as the finest Black Hawk technician. Hinton Detail honors those who serve by offering military (veteran and active duty) and first responder (police, firefighter, and EMT) discounts.
The Start of Our Family-Owned and Operated Auto Detailing Business
Meanwhile, Nick pursued an automotive sales career and soon met with management opportunities. Nick continued to retain a passion for cars and people in general. One day, when a client needed help “cleaning” her car, Nick brought his detailing kit and spent hours making it spotless. It took him back to the day he and Hank had detailed his car. Nick started helping friends, family, and clients detail their vehicles, and the referrals and repeats started coming in steadily. He was overwhelmed with work, so he called Hank, telling him he needed help. Together, they began Hinton Detail, their family-owned and operated business. They are living the dream, and the best part is seeing their customers’ reactions daily when they see their vehicle after our “extreme makeover” professional detail.
